Blanka Konopka

Research Associate, Poland and Eastern Europe

Blanka's expertise lies in research on cultural policy within Europe. She graduated from University of Central London in September 2015 with a distinction in MA European Studies, also gaining a distinction for her dissertation, which she wrote on the evolution of the EU's Cultural Policy. Blanka has expertise and a particular research interest in cultural policy in Poland, a subject for which she holds a Phd offer. Additionally, she is currently a Research Associate for Arts Cabinet, where she has written research and advocacy papers on culture and development.

Her other professional experiences include work for the European Parliament, The Polish Embassy in London and the Eastern Europe Initiatives Congress in Poland. Due to her experience and fluency in the Polish language, her work for TFCC will focus on research into the cultural and creative sector and the development of opportunities and projects in Poland and across Eastern Europe.
