TFCC Commissioned to Deliver an Options Appraisal for Murston All Saints Studios, Sittingbourne, UK

We are delighted to be undertaking this project - to explore options for establishing artists studios and an arts hub to ensure the protection and sensitive re-use of the medieval chancel and grounds.

This is a sensitive heritage site in an area of economic deprivation. But it is also a site of significant potential - to become a thriving hub for local and visiting artists and to connect agendas in culture, environment, regeneration and inclusion.

Our work will feed off our recent Creative Workspace Strategy for Kent County Council. This showed the need for dedicated creative production spaces in the County and to more effectively connect existing assets.

A Refreshed Vision & Action Plan for Creative Colchester, UK

Tom Fleming Creative Consultancy has been appointed to refresh the Vision and Action Plan for Creative Colchester. We developed the first vision and a strategic framework for the development of culture and creativity in the town, in 2011.

Since then there have some considerable developments, not the least the Creative Business Centre - a networking forum and activity space in the Waiting Room of the Old Bus Station.

As part of this 'refresh', we will be running a workshop in Colchester on June 27th at 5.30 PM at Firstsite. Do sign up and come along if you are in the area as it promises to be an exciting event and another milestone in Colchester's development as a real home of culture and creativity.
